ACHEULIAN - EUROPE

END SCRAPER

Type:  End Scraper

Material:  Flint

Period:  Late Acheulian  250,000 - 100,000 years ago

Provenance:  Dept. de la Aisne, France

Measurements:  10 cm x 5.5 cm


Comments:  Made on a thick nodule.  Considerable cortex on proximal end with natural rounded form, perfectly suited for comfortable grip in use.
