HANDAXE

Period:  Late Acheulian  250,000 - 100,000 years ago

Provenance:  Dept. de la Aube, France

Measurements:  12.5 cm x 9.4 cm

 


Comments:  Handaxe made on a  Levallois point core.  Cortex on one side with negative scar from a Levallois point having been removed from the other side.
