LURISTAN BRONZE AGE

BRONZE RAMS HEAD SCEPTER

Type:  Scepter

Material:  Bronze

Period:  Luristan Bronze Age  4000 - 2500 years ago

Provenance:  Iran

Measurements:  8.8 cm high


Comments:  Solid heavy shaft base with small hole.  Four ram heads with alternating inward and outward-looking perspectives.  This is the only example we have seen like this with no other known relative specimens.  Complete and intact.
