TERRA COTTA ANIMAL IDOL

Type:  Animal Idol Torso and Head

Material:  Terra Cotta

Period:  Balkan Neolithic / Chalcolithic  6500 - 4500 B.C.

Provenance:  Balkan Region

Measurements (left to right):

5 cm long x 2.7 cm high x 2.5 wide, 2 cm x 2 cm



Comments:  Head and torso possibly not from same idol.  Torso has incised accent on tail and leg (second photo from top).
